For this project, I chose to create artwork for the Telefon Tel Aviv album “Fahrenheit Fair Enough”. The album is a wonderful mixture of analogue and digital techniques, culminating in warm, open and delicate textures that hover over precise, glitchy electronic percussion.
To illustrate this feeling, I decided to create a glitchy painting of a human face. Using both digital and analogue means to create the portrait meant the human and computer aspects of the album were both represented.
Whilst the colour scheme and use of negative space portray the emotional balance created by the artists during the making of the album. A balance between warm and serious, delicate and robust.
